Thursday, June 9, 2005 Standard-Examiner Man arrested in Internet sex sting OGDEN -- A 23-year-old North Ogden man was arrested Tuesday night after being caught in an Internet sex sting. Ogden Lt. Loring Draper said Detective Colten Johansen posed as a 13-year-old girl on the Internet earlier Tuesday. Draper said the suspect began an Internet chat with the detective only minutes after Johansen had logged on. He said the suspect then began talking about sex and arranged to meet Johansen, who he thought was an underage girl, on the 2500 South block of Adams Avenue. Ogden police subsequently arrested the man at 11 p.m. He was booked into Weber County Jail under suspicion of enticing a minor over the Internet, a second-degree felony. Johansen is part of the Internet Crimes Against Children task force.
