Divers have not found boater who fell into reservoir

Washington County search-and-rescue divers are still looking for a 44-year-old man who fell off a boat Sunday as it made a sharp turn on Sand Hollow Reservoir, about five miles southwest of Hurricane. The man, whose name was not released, is presumed drowned.
Drug case dropped because key witness can't be found
A drug distribution case against former St. George mayoral candidate Tarrell McKay Hughes has been dismissed because a confidential informant cannot be found for trial in 5th District Court. Washington County prosecutors said the informant is crucial to proceeding with the second-degree felony case. In November 2002, Hughes, 42, was allegedly the go-between in a drug deal between a seller and the informant, prosecutors said.
Man arrested for allegedly enticing minor via Internet
A 41-year-old man was arrested Friday in Salt Lake City for allegedly trying to meet a 13-year-old girl for sex. The man came from the Murray area and thought he was meeting the girl for sex and to photograph her, police said. The man was arrested on suspicion of three counts of enticing a minor over the Internet.
Four arrested in beating at park in Sugar House
Four men were arrested Monday night after they allegedly beat a rival gang member in front of a crowd of people at Sugar House Park during the Fourth of July fireworks display. The victim was taken to a hospital where he was in fair condition. At least one of the four men is expected to be charged with aggravated assault, said police spokesman Dwayne Baird.
