Draper man held in teen sex case

Salt Lake Tribune

Draper police Thursday arrested a 29-year-old man they say allegedly arranged for two teenage girls to work as prostitutes with men who appeared to be in their 30s or older. Officers served a search warrant at the man's Draper home Thursday after one of the 16-year-olds came forward and said she had been hired by the man, said Draper police Sgt. Gerald Allred. The man allegedly told the girls they would be paid $50, Allred said. On Super Bowl Sunday, the teens provided oral sex to three men, the 16-year-old told police. The man also had an explicit video of himself with an unidentified female who appears to be a minor, Allred said. He was arrested on suspicion of running a house of prostitution, sexual exploitation of a minor and unlawful sex acts with a minor. The Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force was expected to assist in the investigation. - Justin Hill
