Hi everyone,
I hope your summer went well. I'm writing this to let you know that
negotiations are not yet over. I have no idea how we got the extra personal
day without ratifying, but is anybody really complaining? We are just
waiting for HR to schedule what will hopefully be the last meeting of
negotiations. What we asked for:
That the association is able to introduce ourselves to new hires in
orientation. We already have the permission from custodial and Ricardo to
do that, we just need some kind of official document.
That the association conducts an exit interview when a B&G employee leaves.
Also, the aunt/uncle bereavement will go to a joint committee between the
district and the classified associations for study. As soon as I know when
we meet for that and negotiations I will let everyone know.
The classified presidents and superintendent monthly meetings will start
October 6, if anyone has any issues for the superintendent please let me
know.
Welcome and thanks for joining our new members and thanks to all who have
been members for a while/long time. When we stand together in solidarity we
