[BBTC Ride_calendar] BBTC MINI ME RIDE Saturday, May 14 - Sugarhouse-Draper
Good morning BBTC Members! What a BEAUTIFUL day! I nearly forgot what sunshine looked like. Tomorrow should be a PERFECT day to ride the 3rd MINI ME RIDE! Don't forget... The person or persons that ride the most MINI ME RIDES will receive a Primal Wear Mini Cooper Jersey (picture attached below) at the end of the year. Riders that ride 6 of the 12 MINI ME RIDES will receive a long sleeve t-shirt with the same Mini Cooper design. We'll be meeting at 10AM in Sugarhouse Park just inside the 2100 South 1500 East entrance. I hope everyone plans to join us afterwards for lunch at Einstein's at 1500 East and 1500 South. <<MINI-POP-UP_01[1].gif>> Saturday May 14 10:00 AM Sugarhouse Park to Draper - MINI ME RIDE 50/B-C/3/c Meet in Sugarhouse Park, head south along 2000 East and then east to Wasatch Blvd., continue on to the mouth of Big Cottonwood Canyon, continue heading south via Wasatch Blvd. to Draper and to the Point of the Mountain, return via 900 East back to Sugarhouse Park. Saturday Mini Me Riders: UDOT will be installing signs this month up Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons. They plan to make this a statewide initiative. UDOT has been wonderful to work with. If you can time your ride to bring you by the mouth of Big Cottonwood Canyon at 1:00 please stop and support this effort by attending the unveiling of the signs on: Saturday May 14, 2005 @1:00 pm to 1:30 pm at the Big Cottonwood Canyon Mouth Park and Ride. UDOT wants to take pictures of cyclists that support their efforts. The media will be there too to take photo's and do some interviews. Let's show our support of UDOT and will hopefully make riding the canyons will be safer.
