Friends, Some of you have already heard about the Colorado ban on cycling events with over 2500 participants. If you have or if you haven't here is an article on the Bicycle Colorado web page that details the ban and the events and charities it will hurt. I know many of us have participated in some of these events or hope to someday so it definitely effects us. Also, if it is accepted in Colorado other states may follow. The Web page includes links for petitioning. When petitioning please do not insult the Colorado Highway Patrol. They are not enemies just misguided. As stated in the article, "Keep in mind that the State Patrol officers are heroes to bicyclists. They cite unsafe drivers and provide emergency assistance." Lets help our neighbors and get his ban revoked.
