Fitts Park).For a fairly flat ride out South and West. Club Picnic will follow the ride at 12:30. Bring a Salad or Desert. The club will provide the rest. If we're lucky, the Grand Poobah may accompany us. We'll do a westside loop beofre heading east through Sandy to Wasatch, over to Emigration and back. Early start time to try to beat the heat. From there head north to Saratoga Road. Go west and follow road 2.2 miles. (This is by the model airport) We'll ride 14 miles round trip on one of the most beautiful sections of the parkway. Leisurely pace. Cool and shady. Turn right on frontage road, 1/4 mile turn left, look for parking and trailhead kiosk. Beginer/intermediate ride, starts with 800 foot climb (the price of admision) takes you to fun swoopy singletrack and a decent that will make you feel like a kid!
