RE: [BBTC Ride_calendar] Emigration Light Update
FWIW, I rode up this morning, and right now there's plenty of room for a bike on the right side of the barrels. I would echo the earlier recommendation to use that space going uphill. Going downhill, the posted speed limit is 25, so it should not be too hard to make it through. But if you can't make it through, you can go for a little while down the road, then cross over to the other side of the barrels (just look for uphill bikers there). -----Original Message----- From: ride_calendar-bounces+shorvat=aklawfirm.com@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:ride_calendar-bounces+shorvat=aklawfirm.com@mailman.xmission.com ] On Behalf Of Dan Fazzini Jr. - SLCBAC Sent: Thursday, April 27, 2006 8:28 AM To: mbac-list@aros.net; BBTC bike club Subject: [BBTC Ride_calendar] Emigration Light Update The lighting for the Emigration upgrade should be there for only 2-3 months, then we have the rest of the season to ride the canyon in a much safer and pleasant manner than we had previously. I suggest if you are un-comfortable with the lights in the mean time, to enjoy some our other canyons such as City Creek or Mill Creek or the Cottonwoods in the mean time.
