I took a ride up Emigration Canyon last Wednesday. I was dismayed to see all of the trash left by either cyclist or other athletes using the roads. I did not take a true count of the empty gel shot packages but should have. It seemed like I saw some evidence every 40 yards from the mouth of the canyon to the top of Little Mountain. Combine the littering with red light runners and I can see how it may be hard for us to gain respect on the road. Let's clean it up to get the respect we need and want.
