Sorry, I should have added that. I talked to a sports physician today at LDS hospital. He suggested that I take some caffeine before riding to curb the migraines. But I still need to find out what has changed to make them so consistent so I don't have to rely on caffeine every time I ride. If I ride extra hard to work I get a migraine or at least the blurry vision about 45 minutes after I'm off the bike. The good news is that I seem to be fine on century rides. :) Travis On 5/8/07, Karl B. Woods <kwoods42@comcast.net> wrote:
First off, visit your doctor, tell him about your symptoms, and get a physical. Worry about a heart rate monitor after that.

I need a heart rate monitor and I really don't know anything about them. Does anyone have some good suggestions on what would be a good one to get? Here's my problem: I've started getting pre-migraine blurry vision after my ride to work. I think I might be pushing too hard and I need to start tracking my heart rate so I know what's going on.
Thanks!
Travis
