Hey BBTC! Spring has sprung early and the Bonneville shoreline trail is already dry, round valley in PC is showing good riding conditions (little to no mud) and while many of us have already been racking up the miles on the pavement in preparation of the coming season, we have given little attention to those of us that prefer to ride fat tires with big treads and little gears. New for the BBTC this year is to develop a program for us cyclists that prefer to do it in the dirt. To help balance this program and follow the spirit of the club we are creating its own category and rewards. We are looking to develop our own mileage record complete with high mileage leaders awards just as in the road group. The first step is to learn how many mountain riders we have and what level of riders and the type of rides we want to provide and then to start filling the calendar with rides geared to our riders' abilities. So, let me hear from everyone with their thoughts, ideas and offers to help launch our new endeavor of providing mountain bike ride adventures for our club's members and friends. And let's get out and ride! See you all soon, whether it be on the road or on the trail, Pedal Fast and Laugh Often!! Rob Y. (why not)
