I was trying to figure out how I would die this summer, thanks for the heads up. Adding a signal takes the most dangerous part of the most popular ride and adds a degree of self satisfaction for surviving it, when others will surely perish. Should we start a pool to bet on the death rates? maybe something like: 1. "first fatality" prize pool 2. "closest total fatality count during the construction" prize pool 3. 30:1 pay off for being the first, middle, or last fatality, to be awarded to a designee of your choice All, I am going to try and lead a ride from 6th south to 90th south on I15th, sometime around dusk, if anyone is interested. One more detail.
In the downhill direction, ride quickly as the duration for downward travel is limited. There is usually enough time to make it through but only if you ride briskly and go shortly after the light turns. The consequences of entering late can also be nasty as you will encounter oncoming traffic with no place to escape.
