Last night Channel 5 finally started to call the air we are breathing what it is - SMOG It's unhealthy at the least. Our, savvy & bright, elected politicians want the Department of Environmental Services to take a budget cut next year (All other departments are to get increases). How do we continually elect & reelect these brain dead individuals? Call, write, telephone your elected State Senator & Representative and try to wake them up on the problems they continue to ignore. They continue to waste their time on trying to legislate thing like morality instead of governing the state. Maybe they are so blind or engrossed in themselves that they are unable to even see the air quality problem that we have in the state. California has passed good environmental laws with major success. In the seventies, in LA you couldn't see the mountains & I can't see them here today. If our politicians are to inept to write & pass good intelligent legislation why not just copy some of California's environmental laws and use a word processor program (FIND REPLACE COMMAND) to change the word California to Utah.
