Bendover, Utah (JP) -- Actress and Cyclist Rights advocate Daryl Hanna was arrested early Friday morning attempting to enter Utah with a tree.

 

"All I wanted to do was express my outrage at the scurrilous doping charges against St. Jean Babtiste, and to support BBTC cyclists embarking from the Parly's Crossing parking lot on a 68-mile ride up Little and Big Cottonwood canyons, Sunday, at 8 a.m.," Hanna said.

Authorities said the walnut tree in the back of Hanna's Lexus flatbed, a Juglans regia, is an exotic species.  "We don't let nothing exotic in here 'cause that's just not right," state legislator LaGren Bean explained to reporters.

 

"Maybe it's for the best," the actress said.  "I sensed Juggie's trepidation at attending an event for a man called The Beaver."
