Hey BBTC!!

Check out what’s happening on the ride board this week. We have some great rides posted and even a hike! The winter escape to St George sounds great! I hope all of those lucky enough to head south have warm and sunny weather and a fun and safe weekend.

MLK Day Antelope Island Hike

9/O/4/c

We've done a lot of biking on Antelope Island. How about a hike this time? We’ll see buffalo roam. Maybe even deer and antelope play. Robert plans to do a 9-mile loop hike without much elevation gain. He could be talked into doing Frary Peak if the group insists. No need to worry about weather messing up our plans. Rain, or shine, snow, sleet, earthquake, tornado, it doesn’t matter: the hike will go. Just look at the weather when you get up and prepare for the conditions. Meet in the parking lot by the entrance booth at the beginning of the causeway. To get there, take I-15 exit #335 and go west about 7 miles. We’ll car pool from there to the island since there is an entrance fee of $8 or $9 per car (which we’ll share).

FLAT LAND TRAINER

20/B/5/c

If you're planning on doing a 100 anytime soon it's time to get started now. The route will go west then either farther west or north. Lights, reflectors and tailights are required to be safe, and the roads must be clear. We'll ride dedicated bike lanes to escape the City Center then onto quieter roads west of Redwood.
