There will be a meeting for anyone who is thinking about doing the

get organized quickly.  This will be a question and answer session lead

by Eric Hulphers and is for anyone who wants to participate by riding or

driving a support vehicle.

If your main interest is in doing your best and having fun, but you

don't want to do 200+ miles yourself, this is the meeting for you!

The 20th Annual Little Red Riding Hood is coming up Saturday, June 2nd

2007. This is one of only two All Women's Metric Centuries in the

country and it just gets better every year! The ride is a fully

supported, non-competitive, Women Only Cycling event. Spend the day

riding through beautiful Cache Valley in Northern Utah. The route is a

loop through the Valley on rural & country (paved) roads. The terrain is

mostly flat, with some rolling hills (NO big climbs). There are several

route options, if you don't feel like riding 100 miles yet! We already

have several ladies registered (Ogden One and Hill Cycling Club), but

the more the merrier so let's get a big group going. After you've

registered, please notify   <mailto:Diane.Evans@hill.af.mil> Diane Evans

or  <mailto:Pamela.Vineyard@HILL.af.mil> Pam Vineyard -- we'll get

coordination underway so we can all start the ride together! Click on

the following link, then select "Major Rides" for information and

registration:

Support the Salt Lake Marathon Bike Tour

The SL Marathon which will be held 21 April also has a Bike Tour

Component which is the same day, just before the marathon begins. They

have asked us to see if HAFB Cycling has interested cyclists to help

with registration, marshalling, motivating riders to move faster or pull

them (not on a bike, yank 'em out of the race!) if they're slower, as

well as finish line activities. I think we have a great resource of

riders on base and there might be some who'd love to be involved in the

SL Marathon.  If you are interested please contact

<mailto:pjvineyard@msn.com> Pamela Vineyard.
