We just did Mill Creek tonight. There
are narrow openings in several snow banks on the road, which appear intermittently
from elbow fork up to about ½ mile from the very top. There is a
substantial snow bank which blocks the road at this point, and looks like it
will be there for at least another week.

Anyone for a ride this Friday from Wanship toEcho?
Hi,
I don't have it on the schedule, but I'm going to do a
fairly flat "Back Side" ride this Friday, May 26 in the "banana
belt" of
We'll begin at 10AM at the
Directions: I-80 eastbound to MM 155,
Wanship Exit. After you exit, turn left and go under the freeway, across
the rail trail, and the road curves to the right into Wanship.
The trailhead is right across from the Spring Chicken Inn, you can't miss it.
I've plotted it out on the new gmaps-pedometer
site. You can plot routes for mileage, elevation
changes, and satelite photos of the area as well. Pretty neat site, you
can figure out routes all over the world! Friday's ride is at http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=198245
Hope to see you Friday
