There are also tentative plans for the artists to donate items for an Internet auction that will raise funds for the White family, as well as for a select number of VIP tickets to be made available that would include a reception with the artists. Tickets go on sale for both shows Aug. 26 through Ticketmaster. Tickets will be available at the FleetCenter box office Aug. 26, and at the Madison Square Garden box office Aug. 27. Ticket prices are still being set; net proceeds will go to the White family. As they develop, further details will be made available on Billboard.com.
Hi, I was curious, this is a benefit in what regard? IS for money for his family? IF so I'm just a little surprised as I would have assumed Timothy White would have been worth a fair amount considering his status in the industry. I was under the impression he was 'up there' therefore would have made a few $$$$ himself. OF course I could be wrong.
That's what i was thinking !!! They don't need the money , i mean even if the guy was nice ... Don't get me wrong, a charity for the family??? I think we are getting mixed messages from the media. I mean, i am a nice guy why don't i deserve a charity concert for my family... because we're not rich?! Who's idea was it anyway, give to the poor or something, but the family?? Heck, could have been a good excuse for a Police reunion! Cheerios Kinetic Kid --- Ross Viner <discoduck@shaw.ca> wrote:

I received real SOUNDBOARD recordings of the opening shows for the Gratefull Dead in Las Vegas on May 15th and 16th 1993 (2CDR) The sound quality is way better than the tapes around, very listenable. For those interested in a trade, sent me you list of live shows maybe we can trade with each other. NO SELLING, just trading ! Erwin
