so a ton of tickets are on ebay already and none are under a grand for a pair, some are at three and four grand! the whole sale/presale/members only sale/scalper scum only sale thing is one big convoluted mess. just as far as tickets for NY, boston, or montreal? can anyone sum it all up? are they already sold out? wtf at this rate it may be cheaper to buy flights and hotels to japan from the east coast and get some tickets off a scalper on the way into the arena - than to go five blocks in the US for a show. t
I think everyone is getting too worked up thanks to all the hype. There are _always_ tickets available after a presale! In fact in my experience, half the time presale seats aren't even all that great--especially corporate sponsored ones. I've been burned too many times that way when I paid through the nose for presale seats only to find better ones available if I'd waited for the regular sale. All of these scalpers and brokers are betting on people being over anxious about getting in the door...I say wait and see what happens...there are a lot of tour dates to be announced yet and everyone's going nuts over one or two first shows on sale - and only on sale through one presale right now! And sure they're gonna try to get the big bucks now...watch them sit on those tickets priced at thousands of dollars until it gets closer and closer to the show date and see if they aren't forced to be more realistic. This is TOTALLY true. Years ago I purposely got an AMEX card for the "amazing" "Front of the Line" benefits for concerts. Each and every time the tickets were average, at best. It took me three years to drop that card, before I learned. ~~There are _always_ tickets available after a presale! ...Don't know if anyone mentioned it yet but IN THEORY, the way sales like this are supposed to work is: * best buy club members are 1st in line, but there are only a certain amount of tickets available to them * 2nd comes fanclub members, again only a certain amount available This may not be how it works in actuality, but IN THEORY anyway...
