I agree, but if you compare him to other big names, he's pretty much right in line with their prices. I guess if they saw us revolting, the prices would come down but we keep shelling out the $$$. Unfortunately, I'm addicted and those shows are my drug. Anyone starting a Sting-addiction clinic to set me free? Here in the UK, the ticket prices have never been more than £30 (approx $50), so I'm not quite sure why ticket prices in the US are so expensive... Especially considering you've got pretty much the cheapest of everything over there... (Software, gas, etc). I await with baited breath to see how much the tickets will be for this tour in the UK. Supply and demand. They know the market will bear these prices over here. If people didn't jump to buy the tickets at these prices, you can bet as the concert date neared they would be offering '2 for 1' specials, lots of radio giveaways, and low ticket prices to fill up the venues. Personally, I don't think this tour has priced out the fans- sounds like there are tickets anywhere from $60 - $90 at most venues, and maybe the balcony seats will go for even less. They will probably look at the response to the presale prices ( i.e how fast tix sell at these prices) when they price the public ticket sales as well. on 11/18/03 4:58 PM, Jason Sheldon at jason@digital-solutions.co.uk wrote:
