I was driven to actual tears as I saw Sting, Stew and Andy rock the Whiskey on today's webcast. I have muscular dystrophy and have exceeded the average life span for people with this disease by about fifteen years - I am now 40. I think maybe God kept me alive for this long so I could see this Police reunion. I am elated beyond belief! I've lived for this! Peace, Scott Sands Orlando, FL
Scott your story should reach the band. I wish I had the power to get you a stage-side seat. Scott F. Sands wrote:

Scott, Are you a member of Sting.com or thepolicetour.com? If so, we could get your story to Tina, Wendy, and Dave. I'd be happy (honoured even) to pass your story on to them - from there I'm sure it could get to the band. Just an idea. I haven't posted to this list for a long time, but don't you think maybe everyone could do something like this? Of course, I feel that Scott's story is amazing, and would definitely be the high point of such an endeavor, but don't we all have some sort of story of how this band has affected our lives? Kind of like the birthday book that someone was trying to put together for Sting a year or two ago. One of my favorite parts of the webcast is when Stewart remarked about how some of those people were there 27 years ago. I think Sting said something about their kids. I know there are a couple of us on this list who are in our mid-twenties. We're obviously too young to have seen the band at their peak, but got into them posthumously (so to speak). I know for me, this concert isn't going to be just about seeing the Police, but also a trip with my Dad, who got me started on the band, and brother as we're all three giant Police fans. Again, I feel remise even writing this, because it feels like I'm trying to steal/piggyback off of Scott's story, but as someone said in an earlier there are probably about 600 of us on this list. We all have our own stories. Even if we could only get Scott's story to the band, I think it would be interesting to read everyone's story of how this band has affected us. Very often radio stations can accomplish what we just can't/or have access to people we don't. Just a suggestion, but I know it can work, I've heard it. ~ Jo-Ann ~ in Vacouver From: "Scott F.
