Not so sure about that. Sting.com usually busts those people if fan club tix come up on ebay. I think the scalpers get their pick first somehow. I just don't get it. Damn, I want to win the lottery. I'd have the 1.8 million for a show of our own!!! m In a message dated 2/16/07 4:37:14 AM, justanne@ns.sympatico.ca writes:
The lightbulb just went on in my head (I'm reading this at 6AM -- getting my clock readjusted for UK time as we leave tomorrow for a lovely week abroad). These sets of 4 tickets on ebay are obviously being scalped by "fan club" members. My boyfriend was a little worried when he heard the cursing out of me about this situation. I guess that this should be no surprise. There is also a set of 4 for the Toronto show going for $2600 Canadian (a small fortune). Seats are upper lower bowl by the stage. I personally hope that these tix do not sell. So, we are competing with scalpers even before the tour begins. Jaded already. Grrrrrr!!!!!! Anne
Remember, Best Buy members get first dibs, my theory is scalpers are paying Rewards club members for their codes. ----- Original Message ----- From: Stingfan222@aol.com To: justanne@ns.sympatico.ca ; police@mailman.xmission.com Sent: Friday, February 16, 2007 11:33 PM Subject: Re: [Police] ebay Not so sure about that. OK, Major piss off. I had a team of 4 people working on this in one room. 3 computers, and one phone. Ticket master kept saying no tickets available. This was confusing as I knew it was impossible (literally) to sell out in seconds, even when choosing one seat. Royal fucking piss off. What they should say is "tickets may be pending sales (on hold for two minutes). Check back shortly. Fucking idiots in the truest sense of the word. Idiots, idiots, fucking IDIOTS!! One of my friend got though on the phone (finally) and then the connection got lost. So four us in the control room. Kids running in after we tell them not to. My brother yells at them the last time, stubs his toe going after them. IT was hilarious. Just hilarious. Should have been filmed. I'm in Whistler right now and it was advised NOT to go to the outlet there as they do a random draw come time for ticket sales, therefore getting there early is pointless. Anyway tickets on the side. ----- Original Message ----- From: David <dripdry@gmail.com> Date: Saturday, February 17, 2007 10:00 am Subject: Re: [Police] nervous wreck
