Just tried to get my tickets for MSG with my thepolicetour.com passcode. Nothing available in the $250 block. :(
Well....I paid $250 per ticket for 2 tickets in Toronto....and for that I'm going to be sitting about 2/3 of the way back in the arena - 5 rows back from the floor....crazy....this is probably the equivalent of being 50 rows back from the stage and off to the side a bit (Andy's side). Please understand, I am totally psyched that I am FINALLY going to see the greatest band in the world....I just thought/hoped that the fanclub seats would be really good and these ones certainly are not...there will be thousands of people in front of me. I'm going to try and get tickets again on Saturday along with the masses to see if I can improve my location, and if I do, I'll sell my current tickets. Also, I can't believe the seats I got today were $250 per ticket! I thought this "quality" of seat would be in the $90 range....I'm trying to keep this in perspective....if someone told me a few months ago that I would be seeing The Police live in 2007 I would have said they are crazy....and assuming they convinced me this was true, I would have been ecstatic. So, like I said, I am trying to keep this in perspective, but at the same time I am a bit upset and disappointed. Here's a thought - when original rumor came out about Fenway Park, it was stated there were TWO dates but they are only selling Saturday night and not the Sunday yet. So maaaaybe even if you got your Best Buy reward card late you MIGHT still be eligible if they sell second show at your venue. How's that for optimistic reasoning? Paula
