Fwd: Re: [Police] Fenway setlist
Jeepers, I sent this first to myself! Must take a nap - our power was out all night and not much good sleep - too wound up and too humid/hot. ----- Forwarded message from casimira@csail.mit.edu ----- Date: Sun, 29 Jul 2007 12:19:36 -0400 From: casimira@csail.mit.edu Reply-To: casimira@csail.mit.edu Subject: Re: [Police] Fenway setlist To: casimira@csail.mit.edu Quoting casimira@csail.mit.edu:
Okay, show was awesome, fabulous, etc. even the songs I didn't think I'd want to hear I loved!
Oh, yeah, and EVERYONE stood, most for the whole show and sang along. (hey, some of us are older and may have foot problems ;) )Luckily seat next to me was empty so I had room to move around in and groove. Thank god the rain stopped. It was raining buckets late afternoon. We got soaked going out to eat in the South End but dried off by the show. show lasted about 8:15 to 10:10? People kept wondering about the crowds since the Sox were out of town. Crowds were good, no non-fans that I could see or overhear. Ages from about 8-late 50's. Reviews by local papers were very good - funny how reviewers pick on certain songs to complain about but never same one! Lots of the little digital cameras - the guy who inspected my bag saw my little camera and said nothing. Too bad the pictures suck, not enough zoom or stabilization. My fave song was Bed's too Big. Wish it had gone on for 20 minutes or more. Paula ----- End forwarded message -----
