RE: [Police] Real Police Fans
It would be nice if the newly reformed Police decided to do a few more shows after the March ceremony, if for nothing else than to do them "for old times sake." I've never seen a Police show in person (because I wasn't a fan until 1986); and Andy's years are advancing, and in my opinion this would probably be the best time to do a few shows before they all start to look like the Rolling Stones :-). I've never been really fanatical about going to rare shows - the most "fanatical" I've ever been was purchasing tickets online at 10am on a Saturday morning when they first became available. That did get me 9th row seats, which was plenty good for me and my friends. I did pay $75 a ticket for those small theatre shows during the first part of the BND tour, but that's as much as I've ever paid. In somewhat related news - I'm a bit miffed that my other favorite Brit (Phil Collins) can't do any touring (other than promotional stuff) because of his hearing. Yet another reason that the Police should do some shows before they encounter any similar problems; although it seems that Sting's ego about the whole thing is already a problem.
