Hello Teri, i wouldn't really say it is cynicism over why he won, but Jer is right. As a matter of fact, I have never heard Until so far, although I know all the other songs that were in competition. It always sounds strange to hear almost unplayed songs winning competitions like this. For me it looks like Kate & Leopold needed an extra promotional push and what is better than having a globe to promote it? I do not say that the song is bad -I cannot YET judge on that- , but this commercialising of movies, series, etc ... I do have my doubts ... In today's edition of USA Today, Sting states that he is going to give the Golden Globe for "Until" to Mickey since she was the first person to listen to the song. What a wonderful 18th birthday present!

Instead of cynicism over why he won, this is lovely to read.
