There are still front row tickets available... at the back of the stage! Andrea and I got Section 69, on Andy's side, slightly to the back of the stage. Having seen the setup of the stage in Vancouver, I think those seats might be pretty good. We're already spending $250 a pop on a couple of shows, and quite frankly, the relative value of those seats is not worth it. The cutoff between the $250 and the $95 seats doesn't make any sense. This will also be my nephews' first Police show. What I wouldn't give to be 13 and go to my first Police show! I was 32 when I first saw them... and that was a week ago!!! See you in October Bruce! P.S. I wonder how many people will dress up as cops or bees that night? _____ From: police-bounces+fredberthelot=earthlink.net@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:police-bounces+fredberthelot=earthlink.net@mailman.xmission.com] On Behalf Of Bruce Greenwood Sent: Monday, June 04, 2007 4:49 PM To: 'Police Mailing List' Subject: [Police] MSG sale today Anyone else try for tickets today for MSG in New York on October 31st? Man, they were tough to get! Chris Orange (on this list) was helping me today (thanks Chris). We were both on-line at the same time, seeing who would come up with the best seats. The "waiting time" on Ticketmaster kept increasing, not decreasing, and multiple times the system came back to us both and said no tickets were available so we started our searches again. Chris was offered tickets in the 3rd and 4th levels while I kept coming up with nothing....and finally I got offered tickets way back on the floor and I took them. I may have to trade up closer to the time, but at least I'm in!! Phew. I'm not surprised that Don't Stand and De Do Do Do have improved - they honestly couldn't get worst! Those two and Every Little Thing to me didn't work. Some songs can stand to be toyed around with, but Every Little Thing lost all its power in the new version. Other re-workings such as Walking in Your Footsteps, Walking on the Moon, Invisible Sun and Wrapped worked really well. We're seeing them again in August - it will be interesting to see the changes and improvements from now till then. I agree with the pricing thing, Fred. Also, I think you are right - you probably have a very good vantage point from your location - well done! Yes, see you in October, for sure. Great "meeting" you and Andrea again in Vancouver. Hey Fred - seems like you and I will be in the same section, great minds thinking alike and all.
