I went to the Sting Beacon show on Friday and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. After reading a few posted reviews on this list of lackluster performances I guess I went in with low expectations and at least they were exceeded. Just seeing Sting performing and his energy seemed pretty high so it was very enjoyable. It seems the show has a lot less emphasis on the screen show going on behind him than the Sting NYC opening show I saw late last year. The light show was cool with all the lights moving up and down and diagonal in sync for some songs at the end. And they toned down the sexy images during send your love and now you focus more on the band. I did think ending with thousand years was kind of boring but on the other hand it is good to see a change of pace to put Fragile somewhere else in the list. other opnions...
It was also great :( to see him fumble the words on Synchronicity II. --- David Lucky <dlucky711@yahoo.com> wrote:
