I was incredibly saddened to hear that George Harrison had died yesterday. He made a great contribution to the world of pop music both with & after the Beatles. In particular, if I understand correctly, George was the first major pop star to raise consciousness of a cause with his Concert for Bangladesh. The pop stars of the '80's with Live Aid, etc... were certainly following a trail that he had blazed over a decade before. Just wanted to express some of my thoughts & feelings about his passing. Anne
