Sting mentioned on BBC America.com site
Caught this on the bbcamerica.com site and thought it was kind of amusing. See date of June 26 http://www.bbcamerica.com/anglophenia/anglophenia.jsp Monday, June 26, 2006 BBC AMERICA Has Got Sting's Wife...And We're Not Giving Her Back! Look at that steamy gaze...doesn't it look like she's about to lay some major tantra shizzle down on some bloke? Actress Trudie Styler--known to most as the lady who loves-Sting-long-time (damn her)--will throw some much-needed cayenne pepper into our Love Soup, a tasty new sitcom that will premiere on BBC AMERICA in August. (Airdates are subject to change.) Styler plays randy, vengeful divorcée Irene on the series. Her character is the confidante to lovelorn Alice, played by She of the Magnificent Eyebrows, Tamsin Grieg (Black Books, Green Wing). Irene is neighbors with Gil (humpy Michael Landes), an American expat and comedy writer who is perfect for her friend Alice. But can Irene resist Gil herself? Trudie certainly has an admirable bod: Since today's blog is all about Sting's wife, and it's Music Monday, why not enjoy some Sting videos from La YouTube? While watching the video for "Every Breath You Take," just imagine you're that stand-up bass, and it makes the video much more interesting. The Police - "Roxanne" The Police - "Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic" The Police - "Every Breath You Take" The Police - "Synchronicity II" (underappreciated song and video - check out Sting's outfit) Sting - "If You Love Somebody Set Them Free" (this video creeped me out as a child - maybe because it's full of GHOSTS!) Sting - "Brand New Day" (An indisputable classic of rock star pomposity. Unintentional comedy at its most sidesplitting.) Sting - "Desert Rose" (you know, the car commercial posing as a video.) Sting - "Fragile"
