I alos heard rumour that Sting was having poblems with his vocals, and I did notice the break in his voice on a couple of occasions. I would also bet money that Sting, or any of the band, had absolutely no say in Kanye West being part of the last song. Somebody somewhere thought it would be a good idea to put Mr. yeah yeah uh on the stage with The Police. It was crappy, but I thought the Police brought it, and man did they sound great!!

I found MIAB from Live Earth on Youtube, and yeah, I couldn't make it to the end because I was getting too annoyed by Kanye West.  The more I see/hear of him, the more I think he's a complete idiot. John Mayer did well, though, actually.

One thing I wanted to add....

I've heard speculation that the reason the Miami Unplugged gig was cancelled was due to Sting's voice, and I definitely think MIAB might be an example of that.  Did anyone else hear his voice break up in the early (pre-Kanye) part of the song?

Just a thought....

I would have to agree that Kanye West should probably have been told by MC Hammer, You cant touch this...
