Hello there. For what I know, The Police won't do any other show other than the three songs at the Induction ceremony. I hoped that for a while, but no way right now; it seems like the HOF is the perfect situation for Sting to perform again with the band; he never wanted to re-create a Police show, being something from the past and a non-sense act, so the HOF show is the perfect show (no pressure on this, no related activities like thousands of interviews, record companies requests, etc...). ... I was talikng about that with some 'insiders' and by the way, now I start to know them much better, and realise how precious and fantastic The Police era was; I guess they are absolutely right to behave like this; THE POLICE were the one we used to see back in 1978/1984. Of course, I would love to see the band play an entire show, but that's a personal nostalgic feel. AC/DC is giving a free concert in NYC the day after they are inducted into the HOF. It's their only show of the year. Fans have to win tickets on the radio, etc. Uh, hello, anyone listening out there in Police-land???? Sounds like a good idea to me.
