Wasn't Brand New Day his best selling album?
I think I may have heard that as well.
I think the reason for the tours success is nostalgia. I really don't think a new album would be all that big. In fact I think it would do worse than most popular bands today.
That's possible. The likes of Nelly Furtado and Justin Timberlake could possibly produce bigger hits. But I think a new Police album would sell as well as any Sting album (or a new Eagles album for that matter).
The demographic for the band is older, and most don't even bother buying many CD's anymore.
That's possibly true. I've read a number of articles that state that CD sales have declined with the popularity of digital downloads. However, I think the older demo still buys more CD's than the younger demo (who, I've read, prefer to download their purchases). I still buy CD's. Mitch
