I was at Best Buy today and decided to take a look at the remasters. I ended up getting the greatest hits, (the one with the MIAB remix) and it has no extras. The packaging is cardboard rather than the plastic CD case, (thats different, don't think I would buy it again just for that). The CD has the same songs and I really couldn't hear any difference in quality of the audio when compared with Message In A Box.

I would not rebuy the whole catalog just because it now comes in cardboard, but I am sure that there will be some who will. I guess they can feel happy about giving Sting $0.04, Stew $0.02, and Andy $0.01/2, (cheap shot I know) from each CD bought.

I sent an email before that had Miles talking about putting out a bunch of Police DVDs next year. I will hope that they at least have some new stuff on it.

On a side note, AC/DC has re-released the first half of their catalog and they do come with some different/new things. It seems like whenever a band gets into the Hall, they re-release their CDs again.

Hope this helps,
Sean
