Guess you are not the only one Fred, I have not watched the DVD once… I passed it on to  a good friend.

I was just going through my first few days in Greece with lots of difficulties, and when it hit the news, I stopped working for the rest of the day, (trying to) call(ing) friends who I knew worked in the WTC towers, some who I never saw alive again in fact after that dreadful day.

Giovanni, I remember you were the one who told all of us about the events of that morning when we all waiting for the bus. The mood changed drastically and what should have been a great day for us turned out to be a nightmare. You’re right when you say it was a weird day – I was in Sting’s house, yet I didn’t want to be there. I wanted to be back home in New York with my family and friends and know that they were ok. During the entire show I kept thinking “End the show so that I can go back to the hotel and hopefully call home.”

I haven’t watched the DVD since I first got it…

I remember that night so well, and every now and then I tell about it to friends; I didn't take pictures, nor recorded anything. I remember Sting played Message In A Bottle at the very end of the show, that was not included in the dvd.

One of the weirdest day of my life, probably THE weirdest.

Giovanni

From sting.com

2001:
After much heart searching once the news of the terrorist attacks in the USA was received, the band decided to proceed with the concert at Sting's home in Florence.
Despite several major changes to the set list, Sting performed the most emotional concert of his career in front of an intimate audience of 250 fans and friends.
The results are later heard on the 'All This Time' album.

I have watched the DVD tonight and i was wondering if someone from this list was there.

I remember that i met Lydia, Gio, Sean and Rüdiger, and many more, but i simply forgot the names + faces.

Has someone taken fotographs back then ?

Peace
 Simon
