DG presents Peter and the Wolf on DVD. Pop star STING lends his voice to a Sting puppet for the witty, enlightening commentary that guides the viewer through Prokofievs's charming universally beloved "musical tale".
For Maestro Claudio Abbado, who can also be seen in the film, this project has been a labour of love – his lively reading of the score is recorded with the Chamber Orchestra of Europe.
