Oggetto: [Police] Money for SomethingNot sure if you'll find this one on Sting's official website as I'm too lazy to check. He's not only one lucky bastard, but a greedy one too! Hope he makes a lovely donation to the rain forest. :) Let the sell-out/ not a sell-out thread begin!!
Microsoft head Bill Gates is reportedly paying just under $500,000 to have Sting perform a handful of songs (I heard it was 8) at his upcoming 50th birthday party. The party is to take place later this month at the uber-swanky Supper Club in New York...
Veteran rocker Sting will earn a staggering $486,000 (€380,000) this month, when he plays at a party being thrown by Microsoft billionaire Bill Gates.
The former Police frontman will play just eight songs at the New York event, thereby earning $60,750 (€47,500 )per track.
Gates, 49, is hosting the bash at the city's Supper Club to celebrate his 50th birthday.
