[Police] Off-topic -- personal update

Hi Everyone, Thank you to all of you who sent your good thoughts my way. Mom has had her surgery and has come through with no complications. I am staying overnights with her in the hospital since she can't really do anything for herself yet (hip replacement), but I am trying to check my e-mail every few days to keep up with the list, and the response from you -- the greatest list in the world! -- has been deeply touching and appreciated.
