This is TOTALLY true. Years ago I purposely got an AMEX card for the "amazing" "Front of the Line" benefits for concerts. Each and every time the tickets were average, at best. It took me three years to drop that card, before I learned.
~~There are _always_ tickets available after a presale! In fact in my ~~experience, half the time presale seats aren't even all that ~~great--especially corporate sponsored ones. I've been burned too many ~~times that way when I paid through the nose for presale seats only to ~~find better ones available if I'd waited for the regular sale.
