OZZY KNOCKS STING

Rock-god Ozzy Osbourne has lashed out at singer Sting. The legendary Black
Sabbath star has taken America by storm with his MTV fly-on-the-wall
documentary, The Osbournes, and reveals that although he is deeply ashamed
of some of his dodgy antics, he is relieved that he has not turned out like
the former Police frontman. He says, "I'm not proud of everything I've done,
I'm not proud of all the drugs and booze, or biting the head off a few
animals. But I was young. I didn't know what the f*** I was thinking. Still
it could be worse. I could be Sting."


MADONNA IN RACE TO BUY FAIRYTALE CASTLE

Acress and singer Madonna is competing with Paul McCartney, Sting and
Harrods owner Mohammed Al Fayed to buy a $6.3 million fairytale castle.
Madonna and husband Guy Ritchie are planning a special viewing of
Amhuinnsuidhe Castle on the Isle of Harris in Scotland. But her rivals have
also expressed an interest along with the residents of the island. The
castle and its 50,000 acres - famous for deer stalking and fishing - are
being sold by cider millionaire Jonathan Bulmer, who once described it as
"the loveliest place on Earth". Colin Strang Steel, of estate agents Knight
Frank, says, "There will be a lot of personalities interested in
Amhuinnsuidhe because it is a trophy estate. Estates like this rarely come
on to the market."
