I just saw that David Bowie is playing Austin in April. I tried to get tickets and see they aren't available yet. Lo and behold, I go to his website, and it's pretty much the same as ours. Premium membership for 64.99, "free" CD, access to tickets, , etc. Anyone here a member in that one as well that doesn't want to use tickets in Austin, but could get them for me? I just can't fathom paying for deluxe memberships for every artist I like if this is the way they're all going. Sting, OK, but all the others? Funny I was just griping to someone recently about how I am glad over 20 years ago I chose Sting over any other artists. None of the others are still around and touring besides Bowie, and he usually doesn't play where I am at that moment. I was only able to see him once in all these years. Gotta go in April!
