Oh I know. But have you ever noticed that
some people, and I am not pointing the finger (point point) seem to decide to
dislike a new tune before really examining it. Sting song or not, I listen
to everything.
My friend introduced me to an album called
Enigma. I am sure that some of you have heard it. It is
techno--mood--trancey stuff. I dont know what genre it fits into.
The first time I heard the album, I told her it sounded awful. I gave it a
chance and listened to it a few more times and now I am hooked. That album
is awsome! Give it a go!

IF Sting makes a new song with a new sound........For

I can adapt to give it a chance instead of condemming it
right away. I dont really like dance music usually. I like
this.
I don't think anyone is saying you're NOT ALLOWED to
like "Send Your Love." If you do, polish up your dancin' shoes, limber
up your pelvis, and shuffle on over to the local discotech.
But at the
same time, no throne on Mount Olympus has a sign that says "Reserved for
Sting." The man can be criticized. Maybe two or three Sting songs
exist that I don't like, but this is one of them. "Send Your Love" is
simply not a good song. That's my opinion.
In a newsgroup
devoted to Sting, a group that will be biased toward the man, plenty of people
have posted their dislike for "Send Your Love." That should say
something. Does that mean the critics are not giving the new song a
chance, not giving the new album a chance? No. Just means we share
an honest opinion. Nothing wrong with that.
Now get out there,
hit the dance floor, and "Send your love to the future."
