Message in a bottle

I received an email from a japanesse TV producer who is making a program called "Song to Soul" which is an hour long music documentary to explore legendary songs. They are working now on Message in a bottle. He asked me if I knew the history behind the writting of the song as when and where it was writting. He told me they´ve been told it could have been writting in tha back of a bus probably while touring USA for the first time. From Lyrics and some interviews I checked I could not find any mention of this. Does anybody know something about this story? Thanks, Joe

Gary, there is no Show on 22nd. last show is 18.06.08 Manchester, next is Chorzow, Poland, 26.06.2008. I don't know what they do in between these 8 days, i'm still in hope they do a ITALIAN show ! btw. : no, no chinese, Simon is not a typically chinese name. Uncirculated Police Recordings

Hi all, So I sourced some amazing early Police recordings that have yet to be released. The taper is active on Dime and will only trade/share the recordings for extremely rare live recordings from: U2, Nirvana, Springsteen. Trust me, this guy seems to have every live recording by U2, Nirvana, Springsteen that anyone could get their hands on. If anyone on this list has taped, or knows for sure they have something he couldn't have, please be polite and let him know you might be willing to trade your rare recording in exchange for him to release his Nov 10, 1979 Detroit recording by The Police. For those who are on Dime, his screenname is Butterking. Please don't contact him begging for him to release this recording, because he won't. I'm sending this email out in hopes that someone may have a rare recording from one oif the bands mentioned above that would budge him. If you think you do, best thing to do is message Butterking on Dime with the rare recording you would trade for that show. Thanks Mike

Gary, unfortunatly there are only 2 Races in Europe this Summer, which fit with The Police Tour : FORMULA 1 GRAND PRIX DE FRANCE 2008 (Magny-Cours) 20 - 22 Jun FORMULA 1 SANTANDER BRITISH GRAND PRIX (Silverstone) 04 - 06 Jul maybe they fit the hole between : 18 Jun 2008 Manchester 26 Jun 2008 Chorzow with a show in France !??!?? Hi, everyone. I am fantasizing about the perfect vacation. Are there any Police shows that are within a week of an F1 race? Which ones? It would be a great vacation to see a Police show on a Friday night and an F1 race on a Sunday. Let me know, Gary

This morning when I went to buy Jones Beach, it didn't immediately turn on at 10:00 AM EDT. A few minutes later it switched on and I was able to buy two tickets in section G row KK. The same thing happened at 10:00 AM MDT when I went to buy tickets for Salt Lake City. No immediate turn-on at 10:00 AM and it finally hit about six minutes later. Then I found out to my unpleasant surprise that I was only allowed one pre-sale purchase for this tour. The FAQ says 4 tickets per tour, but I don't have a lot of optimism that they'll resolve this. I've sent a few messages through the "Contact Us" link and haven't heard anything back. The other cool thing about Salt Lake City is that the local ticket vendor (it isn't Ticketbastard) is not showing the July concert on their website. So apparently even if I manage to get a code, I have no idea how I am supposed to buy them.
