Join STUNG this Friday night as we return to Marin to rock the SWEETWATER in
Mill Valley with a full evening of The Police and Sting hits. We always enjoy
playing at this historic Marin County venue in the beautiful wooded community
of Mill Valley, and always get people rocking and dancing the "Regatta de
Blanc" in the aisles.

Thanks to everyone who came to the Red Devil Lounge last Friday with
Notorious. We apologize to anyone who came a little late and might have missed us.
STUNG opened the exciting double-bill, so we went on first and many people missed
us. This Friday there is no way to miss us; we will play all night to make up
for anyone who might have missed us.
We will even offer guest passes to the first 5 responses to this e-mail, so
get on it and work off that turkey butt with STUNG. Show starts at 9:30pm.

There is a full-page ad in the current issue of the New Yorker with Sting in a black hood with yellow face paint, the African pendant he often wears (he was wearing it the night I met him), and a bare chest, with the large caption, "I AM African", and beneath that it reads, "Help us stop the dying. Pay for lifesaving aids drugs that can keep a child, a mother, a father, a family alive. Visit keepachildalive.org to help."
I had never heard of this group before I saw this ad. I haven't even gone to the website yet, since I posted to the list first! But I will check it out.
