Wow. Kind of off topic (Sting and David Bowie)

I just saw that David Bowie is playing Austin in April. I tried to get tickets and see they aren't available yet. Lo and behold, I go to his website, and it's pretty much the same as ours. Premium membership for 64.99, "free" CD, access to tickets, , etc. Anyone here a member in that one as well that doesn't want to use tickets in Austin, but could get them for me? I just can't fathom paying for deluxe memberships for every artist I like if this is the way they're all going. Sting, OK, but all the others? Funny I was just griping to someone recently about how I am glad over 20 years ago I chose Sting over any other artists. None of the others are still around and touring besides Bowie, and he usually doesn't play where I am at that moment. I was only able to see him once in all these years. Gotta go in April! I guess you have all seen those deluxe editions in the record stores - I've noticed a few by The Who, Marvin Gaye, Bob Marley etc all with unreleased mixes, unreleased studio jams, live tracks etc Well it got me thinking .. why can't us fans put together some 'dream' cd listings and maybe one of those record company bods will actually release em? I'd love to hear official releases of the police warming up with 50's rock n roll jams ( if such unreleased gems exist... ) if not even the bootlegs already out there give plenty of material for such a release - zenyatta rehearsals, live concerts etc Well.. heres my dream SACD Stereo deluxe edition Police album. Where better to start than there first album? CD One - Outlandos d'Amour - the album Fall Out Nothin Achievin Dead End Job BBC Peel Sessions 1978 Old Grey Whistle Test CD Two - Strontium 90 1977 gig Bottom Line gig It would be great to top this off with some home demos, unreleased rehearsals & mixes plus some original artwork,,, Here's hoping you all feel compelled to email around dream Deluxe Editions for the other albums too!
