Hi Is just something "funny", but, I've got the DVD of the HOF nominations and just back of the musicians there's a few pictures, concert posters of the shows released in the past for the diff. bands nominated.Just, back to the Sting, when they make the speach there's a small poster of the 2nd concert of The Police in Barcelona It's the one designed by Joan Auladell for the Barcelona show do in 29th Sep.1980 with XTC and Dr.Feelgood support bands.Is just a curiosity...but...I'm very surprised and happy..that Barcelona was at the HOF nominations with this representation. New fan club stuff

Hi! Just got the update from Sting.com relating to the fan club. It sounds interesting. Btw, it says that the new single will be released in July (yippee!) and the album in September (which I think we all knew). The interesting thing to me is that it mentions that there will be pre-orders for tour tickets (hopefully for those of us on this side of the pond!) as well as exclusive fan concerts! Already getting excited for the fall here in PA! Hilary

And those who know me and what I do need not ask my opinion...... :) But I agree wholeheartedly with Fred and Andrea on this - the three of us have seen them grow up from being Santa's Boyfriend at seedy bars in Hoboken to seeing them as what you hear (or will hear, once the single hits radio) now as Fiction Plane. We have seen the amount of tireless work that *as a band* (forget about Joe being someone's son right now) they endured to get where they are today. It's only proper that we truly support them by going to Best Buy, Virgin, Tower Records, FYE, etc. and spending the money that will have them continue to make great music. Being in close contact with people at MCA here in the city, I can tell you that are working their asses off working this album, to try to get mainstream radio to pick up the single. Hi in my struggle to get more information about old photos of THE POLICE I wrote to Lynn Goldsmith for help. She couldn't help - but her reply was even better: "Sorry I can’t help, however maybe in the future I can – we are working on a new Police book and hope to have the dates and places! I checked out the site and the Sting demo would not work so I reloaded it and the song still did not play. So, if you email me asking for the song I will try to send it that way. Also, I found out that I had put the studio version of Mr. Oysterhead on the site by mistake so I took that down and loaded "Little Faces" from the LA concert and that does work. I will look into the problem with the Secret Journey demo this weekend and I will also try to post another Sting demo as well. Sean

Sorry for the lack of updates this week as I have been extremely busy and haven't had the time. However, this weekend should be a real treat for some. I would like to thank <A HREF="mailto:tara.bruce@rogers.com">tara.bruce(a)rogers.com</A> for sending me the Obladi oblada MP3 (I will post it on Saturday) and hope that more people would be willing to send me a Police/Sting MP3 of rare or live material and I will post whatever I get on my site for all to download. I also have been cleaning up the Epilogue (Nothing About Me) MP3 that I have. I believe this is one of those studio jams that Mr. Sting had during the TST recording session. Sting also ends the song with a few bars from EBYT much like he did on tour but you can tell this was recorded in a studio. I had to clean the recording because it had no highs or lows, just mids and I will post this on Saturday as well. For today, I cleaned up and posted The police doing Roxanne live from the BBC. This is a longer file, so it may take a few minuets to download. Good grief, the CD is only 8.99 at my tower, and it was 9.99 at best buy, it's the best deal out there considering every song is worthy! They really are working their butts off and I'm working my butt off trying to get them on the radio here in Austin! They're all looking for the free CD, so they say... I'm about ready to march down to the radio stations myself to give them a copy of my own! Michelle
