I saw Focault's pendulum in the Pantheon in Paris a couple years back (just after smapling some of the greenery that I had gotten in Amsterdam) it was awesome - I stood there awe struck by it for quite some time It really kind of blew my mind there was also strange ambient music echoing around the place (and a picture of a monk carrying around his head in his hands), as well as the graves of Voltaire and some other people a really strange place - cool history too during (one of the revolutions) people used it as a stronghold against the government anyway thought that i'd add my 2 cents
