'erm...it's a hour long actually, but the "real" link you need to d/l it is: rtsp://rmv8.bbc.net.uk/wales/radiowales/worldbeat.ra what you need to do when you're in the bbc player is: a. right click and "view source" in the left hand "show info" window b. search for "rpm" - this will show you the link to the real audio .rpm file, which drives the player for that show c. copy the full address of the .rpm link into StreamboxVCR and d/l it (should take 5-10 seconds) d. open the .rpm file in a text editor, and it will tell you the actual .ra link e. copy this link into Streambox, and d/l it f. bob's yer father's brother cheers, --- Smiley

OK, while we're on a Streambox Masterclass; I go to Groovetech and drag the link for the latest Teatime to Streambox. I look inside the file it downloads and then I paste this into Streambox; rtsp://gtarch.groovetech.com/<snipdirectory>/20030724-thursday_teatime__13497.rm But I only end up with 178 bytes every time. I'm running SBVCR 3.1 - FlyingRaichu RTSP/PNM Any ideas anyone? Well, at least it's bloody Orb related. Do I get a star for that and how many stars till I get a fun size mars bar from Trash!!!! Billy BTW Trash, I sympathise with you. I've just split and it's shit 8( Smiley wrote:

you need the StreamboxVCRSuite2 - a quick web search should find it. it's a repack of a couple of applications related to Streambox VCR, including several existing releases of Streambox VCR, Streambox Ripper (which can convert realaudio files to wav files), and RealAudioRenamer (which can rename realaudio files using their content descriptions). it includes a "turbo" version of Streambox, which should work when the "normal" beta version won't download something - like the groovetech streams. cheers, --- Smiley

Yeah, sort of. It was a half-hearted attempt at best... I'm sure Alex and Fil can do a far better job. Orbital should hang up the towel after their last two or so albums. I could probably make better music after eating a good meal. ;) -Bri On 9/1/03 7:19 PM, "gel-sol@gel-sol.com" <gel-sol@gel-sol.com> wrote:
