Sorry, but you have to admit.. if i'm a true fan... which everyone here is... I have spent countless hours and $$$ going ot shows and on CD's and merchandise. When I got my Cydonia shirt and it fell apart in the wash it was as though the album had truly manifested itself, in the form of shoddy craftsmanship, in the tog. The opposite would be Def Leopard's Union jack w/is that one album all the way, expressing all the energy.. even though they suck. Who else deserves to lash out violently than a chilled out ambient fan who won't allow his favorite band to urinite into his eustachian tubes (cite Phish ; Bittersweet Motel) I mean I love the man... sometimes laugh when Thrash rags on him.. but he's blinded by ambition and his brain is clogged w/resin. Not to be a downer... but to put out such quality work... to make a franchise the Orb last so long... was a good run.... and its over. Said so himself quite a bit. It started with Mich Mars 7" or whatever polished turds he had turned out. I mean Cydonia is a great album, if it were some new band... not for my favorite band who I hold to the HIGHEST mother-fucking standard of anyone? Isnt that my right? The first song has Vocals for christ -sakes. VOCALS!!!!!

I also like Track four, yet I also think that CYDONIA is a masterpiece too. "MILE LONG LUMP OF LARD" is sheer brilliance. Yes we all have our own oppinion, but can you listen to the tracks technical merit rather than synthetics? Good will to all men; did it end with you? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- case in point--> Alex Paterson even takes the reins on Track 4 as The Rob performing -'4 Horsemen'.

It just goes to show you LX knows Cydonia is fucking horsecocks. He has to godamn disguise a song on this album CUZ NO SERIOUS ORB FAN LIKES THAT PIECE OF FILTH. Seriously folks listen to the crap he's trying to sell us? Its like placing a solid BM from a sick child's diaper in the middle of an award winning cheese cake. The Rob... how about the fucking BOR! FUCK CYDONIA and fuck alex for ruining his masterpiece (althought the "drifting... drifting" old woman is classic.
