sorry i been away and i know im late commenting on this but i wanted to say something. i think pomme ftritz is one of the best orb tracks to listen to. i mean i just love it ever time i hear. the album is a fun album to throw on ever so often just to trip out on and remind you why the orb are so cool. i think there should have been a middle finger somewhere on the cover of that album instead of the best of =P DJ TeleVision In a message dated Sat, 19 Jan 2002 4:07:48 PM Eastern Standard Time, M JH <trixxed@yahoo.com> writes:
i always thought it was the most ironic of the Orb albums. for, as relatively "bare" (less ear pleasing??) as the middle section may be, the tracks are about as complex still as some of the most complex Orb soundscapes that have been presented to us. And despite what near sarcastic intentions seem to have been voiced by alex paterson especially, the compositions really hold up. as if the particular song elements themselves don't even matter, just what you do with them.

The difference is that it's stripped of a
contextual, conventional track and left relatively bare.
